Private & Group Violin Lessons in Fairfield.

We offer the following services:

Violin lessons for beginners are offered for kids and adults who have no prior experience in playing musical instrument. You will learn the fundamentals of classical violin technique, music theory and basic ear-training.

Intermediate violin classes are designed for students familiar with basic music theory and have at least two-year experience playing violin. You will learn about classic shifting techniques, double-stops and chord playing, advanced violin bow techniques such as spiccato, martele, staccato and more, as well as how to master violin vibrato. 

Our advanced violin technique lessons are for advanced students and young professionals who want to perfect their violin skills or need a coach to help them to prepare for a violin competitions or orchestral auditions.

Piano lessons for beginners are offered for kids and adults who have no prior experience in playing musical instrument. You will learn the fundamentals of classical violin technique, music theory and basic ear-training.

Born in Italy in the mid 16th Century, violin possesses one of the most unique and easily recognizable voices of all musical instruments. Violin playing encompasses all the nuances of human emotions and can be described as passionate, intense, and fiery or delicate, sweet and refined and, in the right hands, it can move you and inspire you. I find teaching music very fulfilling experience and I am committed to helping my students to achieve great success on their musical journey!

Maxim Baluyev

Professor Baluyev is active soloist, concertmaster, chamber musician and teacher in San Francisco Bay Area, and is currently teaches violin at Solano College. In 2011, Maxim has accepted a position of Concertmaster of Solano Symphony Orchestra in Fairfield. His solo appearances include San Francisco Concerto Orchestra, Solano Symphony Orchestra and Solano Choral Society. Prof. Baluyev received his training in violin performance at San Francisco Conservatory of Music as well as Rimsky-Korsakov College of Music in St. Petersburg. His Teachers include Albert Markov, Zaven Melikian, Denis De Coteau and Ian Swenson. He has been a member of Sacramento Philharmonic, Monterrey Symphony, Stockton Symphony, Marin Symphony, Vallejo Symphony, Bear Valley Festival Orchestra and other ensembles. Maxim is founding member of String Trio Maxim. Maxim has over 25 years experience in teaching violin both privately and as a faculty member of private schools including Calder Academy of Music, Almaden School of Music and Dance, Gingis Academy of Music, Live Music Center, Gordon’s Music, and others. Many of Maxim's students went on to become winners of violin competitions and members of several orchestras including California Youth Symphony, San Jose Youth Symphony and Solano Symphony.

Natasha Vinetskaya

Natasha Vinetskaya is a winner of several competitions in her native Ukraine, Natasha Vinetskaya has performed as a soloist with Kharkov Philharmonic Orchestra and San Francisco Concerto Orchestra. She studied with Albert Markov, professor at the Manhattan School of Music and with Zaven Melikian, Concertmaster of San Francisco Symphony, at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She has performed with world renowned artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Andre Watts, Elmar Oliveira, Stephanie Chase, Sarah Brightman, Olga Kern and many others. Natasha has an extensive solo performing and teaching experience. She and her husband, Maxim Baluyev, have formed String Trio Maxim and enjoy playing chamber music.
