Maxim-Baluyev-violinist

Maxim Baluyev is active soloist, concertmaster, chamber musician and teacher in San Francisco Bay Area - Maxim is currently a Concertmaster of Solano Symphony Orchestra in Fairfield. His solo appearances include San Francisco Concerto Orchestra, Solano Symphony Orchestra and Solano Choral Society. Maxim received his violin training at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. His Teachers include Prof. Albert Markov (Manhattan School of Music), Prof. Zaven Melikian, Denis DeCoteau and Ian Swenson. He has been a member of Sacramento Philharmonic, Monterrey Symphony, Stockton Symphony, Marin Symphony, Vallejo Symphony, Bear Valley Festival Orchestra and other ensembles. Maxim is founding member of String Trio / Quartet Maxim. Maxim has over 25 year experience in teaching privately and as a faculty member various schools including Calder Academy of Music in Cupertino, Almaden School of Music and Dance in San Jose, Gingis Academy of Music in Los Gatos, Live Music Center,  Vacaville, and others. Many of Maxim's students went on to become winners of violin competitions and members of several orchestras including California Youth Symphony,  San Jose Youth Symphony and Solano Symphony. Maxim performs on acoustic and electric violin.
